When my husband and I got divorced, I went to look for a place to rent because we had to sell the house and share the money between the two of us. When my boys and I went looking for places, my eldest was in the living room and said to me, Please, we cannot move away from our place, which is a small holding where they grew up with lots of space to keep themselves busy. I did not have enough money to buy the property from my husband so I went to SA Home Loans and they said I did not have enough money to get a loan, so I went to someone to sign surety for me. I was so happy and so were the children because we did not have to move away from there, home. Some months I still suffer to pay for my loan but God looks after me, lucky I never skipped a month to pay my loan.
