We applied for an additional loan on our original bond as we needed to do alterations on our property to create a room with a shower and toilet for our domestic worker, Numsa, it was handled quickly, professionally and approved, where other institutions wanted to charge high fees and SA Home Loans gave us the best rate!! This young lady works part time for several homes and despite our assistance she was still struggling financially and with health issues. She also has a young son that she supports who has to stay at Orange Farm. Numsa was ill often as she had to catch up to three taxis to work and was charged a high rent for a rundown room that had electricity cut off sometimes even after the rent was paid!! We all know hard it is to survive in today's economy and we wanted to help this young lady. Also to provide a safe environment, help her financially and improve the standard of living. Thank you to SA Home Loans; you made that possible and we have a lovely young lady that now can save money on rent and transport and she is much healthier. Numsa has such a great personality and humour that can now shine, now that she has a good place to stay. She even says that she feels like a daughter and can grow in her life.
