Having moved from the Western Cape in July 2017, I was given two months of interim accommodation by my employer and had to look for accommodation! I ended up staying with my cousin at Sunnyside in her two-bedroom flat.

When my furniture was delivered, the flat was so packed we could barely move around nor clean properly. I then started looking for alternative accommodation but couldn't believe the prices I had to pay to rent at least a two-bedroom flat ranging from R4 500 upwards.

I applied with all major banks and none of them approved me. I took a leap of faith with SA Home Loans and now I'm a proud owner of a beautiful home, for which other financial lenders made me feel like I could never afford.
