SA Home Loans is my Hero! In 2003 I had the misfortune of getting divorced, giving birth to a gorgeous little girl, and having to sell our home, buy a new one, all within a couple of months! I had a newborn baby and four cats to find a home for in a few weeks while earning virtually nothing on maternity leave, and the trauma of a divorce. I decided on an amount and spent most of my time in tears looking at the tiny places I could "afford". Eventually I came across across a nice option but to my dismay, it was above my limit. The seller lowered her price and the agent sacrificed some commission but it was still a bit pricey for me. I made an offer and SA Home Loans was everything I could have asked for - easy, professional, friendly and their rates better than any bank I approached! I bought my new house and the interest rate dropped quite a few times soon after! I decided to keep paying the maximum amount and paid a few lump sums in when I could. I sacrificed having DSTV and payed the amount I saved into my bond via stop-order. I am proud to say that my daughter is 9 years old and I only have 3 cats now! I am looking to pay off my bond in two months time - 11 years early! I only wish SA Homeloans could organise a husband like they organise a bond - but in the mean time I will be saving and looking into the next house I can buy - without a doubt through SA Homeloans!!
