My Husband and I bought our first home last year. We approached all the major banks for a home loan including the bank that we have been with for years. After two months of struggling with these banks with no success I heard an advert on the radio advertising SA Home Loans and decided to apply online. I submitted the form on a Friday afternoon at about 15h00. On the Monday morning when I read my emails I already had a letter that the home loan has been approved in principle pending the credit checks. By the Wednesday we had a letter confirming the home loan has been approved. Our own bank was only willing to give us a 70 % bond however SA Home Loans gave us a 95 % bond and approved the application in 4 days where the other banks took 2 months.
