After my divorce I rented and then took my parents in to live with me when they no longer could manage on their own. In 2000 I had to find new accommodation and found a very nice house which was big enough for us. My Father passed away 2 years later but my Mother and I remained in the house. After renting for a further 8 years the landlady wanted to sell and gave me first option and also offered the house at a very reasonable price.
