Where do you begin to tell your life story or experience?  At the beginning? That may be a bit too far back, so let's start 7 years ago when I lost everything.

I got divorced, lost my car and lost my home; to me, it felt like everything was lost....even me. Three years later I "inherited" my parents and my blind sister.  In that time my father passed away, my sister got divorced and that meant extra worry to have a roof over their heads.

I rented a property for the last 7 years and was informed by my then landlord that his house was sold and I had 2 months to find alternative accommodation. I decided that no way was I going to rent again.  I was 47 years old and I didn't ever want to sit with the same situation through renting again. I found my home in a weekend and this was only done by a drive by.  Fell in love with this "ugly" green house immediately.  Monday morning I immediately started the bond application process and needless to say the 4 major banks declined me.  I approached SA Home Loans and within a week my bond was approved...... yay!!!!

Yay was short lived as buying a house is not easy it is definitely accompanied by drama, joy, anxiety and relief.  Will I do it again? YES! Only with SA Home Loans at my side, will I do so.  For now, I love my house. Its now 3 months later and i still love my house.
