I start looking for a house at the beginning of the year with the intension of buying at the end because I knew it normally take months before you find your perfect home at the best price. With prayer and the grace of God I went to the third house which offered me everything I needed to the finest detail including the price. It was a bank repossessed house which was on sale for half the price offering 3 spacious bedrooms, fully fitted kitchen, tiled modern en-suite and main bathroom, double garage, swimming pool, granny flat and fully paved for R630 000,00. I was not willing to lose this bargain. A friend who is a bond agent lodged loan applications to ABSA and FNB (my bank) and both banks after many days of following up eventually approved part of the bond amount required. I was running out of time so called SA Home Loans personally, first thing in the morning and got hold of an official that actually answered someone elses phone who was from another department but decided to assist me. She went out of her way to give me advice and sent the relevant applications to me immediately, by 10h00 that morning which was 2 hours later; I received a pre approved bond for the amount I requested. The next working day I received an approval after the inspector visited the premises. This was exceptional assistance and this was the second bond Ive taken with SA Home Loans.
