I am Nhlanhla Michael Zulu, I have financed my home loan through SA Home Loans. My bond was initially with a bank, and I was attracted to the SA Home Loans because of the low interest rate I was offered as compared with to the bank. I then realised that if I transfer my bond to SA Home Loans and continue to pay the amount I am paying with my previous bond holder, I will be able to pay off my bond in a shorter period and save a lot of money. I was also able to apply for the second bond and renovated my home with the same amount I was paying at the previous bank, meaning that I am staying in a much better home but paying the same amount I was paying at the previous place.
