After listening to my friends talking about renting; I sat and did my calculation based on what I can afford monthly. There was no way I was renting; its like paying someone else's bond. I then applied for a home loan from the major banks in SA. All declined. When SA Home Loans approved my bond I was very happy that I will finally have my own property. It wasn't easy but I was always optimistic.
