My wife and I got married in 2012 and we so wanted to stay on our own as a married couple. After the wedding we rented a flat for about a year. The living conditions were not what we hoped for as a married couple. We came to decision that we are ready to purchase our own house. After numerous attempts to apply for a home loan at different banks, we finally succeeded at one of the four major banks; but at a very high interest rate. Even though we were not happy with the interest rate, we still went ahead with the home loan application and signed off the deal because we were desperate. After a few months we saw an SA Home Loans advert on TV. I decided to give SA Home Loans a call and the consultant advised that an application must be submitted with the relevant documentation. Unfortunately the first application was declined due to the square meterage of our house which did not meet the minimum requirements for the bond approval. The consultant had also told us that we would have paid a lower interest rate if the bond had been approved. We went the extra mile to extend our house in order to meet the minimum requirements because we really wanted to move our bond to SA Home Loans. After the extension was complete, we submitted an application again, and the bond was approved within a week at a very low, low interest rate! We are very happy with SA Home Loans and would like to thank them for everything that they have done for us. We would recommend SA Home Loans to anyone.
