Where do I start with my fairytale.... Six months ago, my husband and I purchased our first dream home, which we thought was never going to happen. All our friends have purchased homes and here we were still waiting to have my husband's ITC cleared. This is one day I will never forget, we then decided to leave it in God's hands and fast. We applied at the four major banks only to find that two declined and the other just did not seem bothered to get back to us. It was a stressful time for our little family as our landlady increased the rent by R1200.00 which we could not afford at the time. We then decided to purchase our own home and knew that the credit criteria was a bit tough out there. I however got Kim Adams contact details from a Nedbank consultant. I then took the bold step to contact Kim and asked her for assistance, she was indeed very helpful. My husband called her during and out of working hours to find out about the application. She had all the patience in the world, the best service thus far. Eight days later my first born 10th birthday I got an email from Kim saying that the bond has been approved. I bowed down my head cried and went into pray thanking the Lord. We had however experienced quite a few hiccups with regards to the estate agent losing our documents. Kim kept us updated throughout the whole process. On the 1st of June we took early occupation, moved in and came across a cross at the entrance of the door as we moved in all our furniture.
