By the time I was 27 years old, I had lived in 31 homes. My mom, being single and raising 2 children, couldn't afford the increase we would always receive after moving into a new flat or home, so then we'd have to move again. We used to say that if we click our fingers, our belongings jump into boxes all on their own. At the age of 24 I rented my own flat and vowed to live in it for as long as possible. When my rental reached 1 year my friends and I celebrated because it was the first time in my life that I had lived in one home for an entire year! Imagine my horror when my estates agent phoned me two days later to confirm that the owner would be selling and that I would have to move. I was absolutely distraught! With a little bit of encouragement from my family I did all the necessary investigations and found that with SA Home Loans, I'd be able to afford to buy my little flat. Which I did, and have happily owned my own home for a number of years now. The SA Home Loans representative was extremely helpful and explained everything to me, being a first time home owner I was nervous of this huge step. He was patient and assisted me until I felt confident. I am certainly a Proud SA Home owner and my belongings no longer jump into boxes when I click my fingers.
