It was March last year when my wife & I first approached the 'green 'bank that I had been with for 15 years for a home loan and they declined. We thereafter tried the other 3 commercial banks, but they also declined on unknown basis. As you'd imagine, it was frustration, frustration and more frustration. A week after, I shared this story of our life with a very close friend, who told me not to worry and referred me to a financier which he deemed reasonable and open minded - SA Home Loans that is. He then gave me their call centre number, which I called the next day. I was received with a warm welcome by a gentleman by the name of Faizal Faried, who treated me like his only client throughout the process.
