During 2004 I was so broke that I had to get a second job just to pay for bread and milk money, and for the school fees that heaped up. I approached SAHL for an extra loan on my bond, because I wanted to build a little flatlet on the same premises as the house to bring in money and later on to be inherited by my son as the bigger property would go to my daughter. Needless to say, no bank would help me, because I had bad debt, except SAHL who said it is ok, they will help because I pay by debit order. Thank you, today I have two properties, have remarried and rent them out. They are my insurance for old age and my children's inheritance!
