My husband and I started our search for a house in 2009; it took us about a year to find the perfect place in Rietvalleipark. We started by applying for a loan through a bond originator - biggest mistake ever! We were sent from pillar to post with everything from paperwork, bank statements and salary slips. After about a month, we still did not secure a loan and was given 2 weeks to secure a loan for our new home. We were devastated, as we saw our perfect home slipping away! The last day to secure the loan was on a Friday; we were feeling hopeless! A friend suggested SA Home Loans, we were sceptical, but it was our only chance. We phoned Hanlie at the Pretoria Branch and told her that the loan needed to be secured and signed the following day!! Anyone that has applied for a home loan knows that this was impossible - getting a home loan approved in a day is not going to happen!! We were ecstatic when Hanlie emailed us the next day with an approved home loan! We did not believe that we would get this dream house. From there SA Home Loans have been professional, efficient and we have never experienced such service. We were pleasantly surprised, but most of all grateful to the people that understood our dream of owning our own home and made it happen! Thank you to all that were part of this wonderful journey!
