I applied for my loan last year, for the first time with SA Home Loans. I was so excited when I heard that my loan was conditionally approved. After a few weeks I got a shock that my loan might not be approved based on affordability and was so disappointed. I had to prove that I could afford the loan and went to the extent of sending my bank statement and clearing my wifes outstanding accounts because we had applied for a joint loan. The experience initially included bad news but it ended with good news!
