I have been living in Johannesburg for more than 15 years.
3 years ago, 30 June 2016, our bond was granted. However, we didn't know that the house was a property in distress and the owner tried to sell it before it went on auction. We found out 7 days later that the house was repossessed and going on auction.

We could do nothing, except wait. I went to the SA Home Loan branch in Horizon on the West Rand and the lady at reception said not to worry, and that SA Home Loans don't cancel their bonds without any just reason and true to her words, we waited 3 years before our bond was registered.
