Our story is one of perfect timing, and being willing to take a chance. We decided a while ago that we wanted to look for a home of our own, and had been eyeing a few new developments as "in our price range". On sunday we happened to visit on of the developments, which was very nice, but it didn't feel like home, however, as we were driving out the complex, there it was, our "dream" house, nice big garden, perfect for the kids, which we planned for the distant future, and for getting our green fingers dirty in. We enquired about the house, and alas, out of our league, but hey, if you don't ask, you don't get, so we put in a cheeky offer, thinking, "at least we tried". Little did we know that the current owners also saw their dream house, and needed a quick sale to secure it, so our lucky was in, we signed an offer, and were pretty sure that we'd now done the hard part, finding a home. Wow, were we wrong, we tried every bank under the sun, but because we are young, and don't have much credit, we couldn't get the bond we required, dispare. Then, someone mentioned SA Home Loans, we sent through our application, and every soon thereafter were approved! We were very impressed with the level of service we received, and also that SAHL was willing to look at our individual case, and not treat us as a number. We moved in on 24 April 2011 into our dream house, and started making it a home.
