We moved from Lephalale to Ermelo in 2006 and was looking for our dream home while we were renting for the meanwhile. During February 2010 we found a home for a reasonable price which suited all our needs and me and my wife were very excited. The estate agent applied through a number of financial institutions for a home loan but I told her that I would apply via SAHL and she was not very positive about the idea. However within 3 days provisional approval was granted and because I already had a loan with SAHL my deposit was reduced from 10% to 5% which improved my cash flow considerably. The loan was offered at a competitive rate and all the processes were completed within a very short time frame. The estate agent could not believe that the loan application and approval was concluded in such a short space. The registration process also went smooth and on the 1st of May we moved into our dream home with lots of space and a wonderful workspace for all my hobbies s and an indoor braai area and lounge combined which is only found at hotels or conference venues.
